Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in a great game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike most other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more experienced individuals taking their mulla.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, beginners are able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also easier to enjoy for a long time with just a tiny bit of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino gets seven cards face down.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
