Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable players winning their moolla.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices can take their time and plan without needing to make quick selections.

It’s also much simpler to enjoy for a very long time with basically a tiny amount of cash seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the house gets seven cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a two card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
