Web poker has become globally famous lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other gamblers attain five cards each. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to either make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original wager, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes directly to the dealer. After the bet comes the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with an amount equal to the original wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pays out money even with your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
