Poker has become world famous as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore.Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer announcing "No more bets." At that point, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players receive 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including an amount equal to the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pays chips even with your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
